Addie walked down the impossibly long hallway, alone on her first day of school. Literally alone. She was beyond late for her first class. She slowly sauntered in, prepared for a day of heIl.
 
"Nice of you to join us, you must be Addison, have a seat where you wish." Her teacher who looked more miserable than her muttered to her.
 
She rolled her eyes, looking over the class. There were only two seats empty. Beside what appeared to be a group of jocks, loud and obnoxious. The guy in the center who appeared to be the ring leader gave Addie an obvious wink and nodded to the seat beside him.
 
She hesitated from the nausea. Then walked over to the seat beside him, remembering the best time she had in Lancaster was with her boyfriend Max.
 
"Danny." He said bluntly as she took a seat, putting his hand out. "Awesome." She replied making no eye contact and opening her book.
 
"Well aren't we a bit sassy for the being the new girl. This is a big school darling, theres a lot of stuck up bltches already, don't disappear into one of them." He said, with laughter coming from behind him.
 
"So you're saying I should hang out with you lads then? That will make me noticeable. Wow, thank you, i've always wanted to be popular in highschool." She said sarcastically with eyes wide.
 
She heard a soft chuckle from beside her. She turned to face Hunter. He continues sketching in his notebook until he realized he caught the attention of the jocks and Addie. "Shlt.." He whispered to himself.
 
"Something funny Sharp?" Danny said with his jaw hardened.
 
"No not at all, I mean even if there was, you guys probably couldn't be able to comprehend it. You know with your two working brain cells." Hunter stated. Danny got agitated and jumped out his seat.
 
"What are you gonna do Mr. Wayne. Hit him right in front of me? Get suspended first day back?" The teacher interrupted from the front of the classroom. "It would be nice if we could just shut up and listen to the lesson. Thanks."

The bell rang, and the jocks filed out quickly. Addie sighed as she got up. Danny slipped her a piece of paper wiht his number on it. "You're fuccking hot, don't get mixed in with the wrong crowd." He whispered in her ear, then backed away slowly glaring at Hunter.
 
"My god are all the guys here complete dirtbags.." She said frustrated as Danny walked away.
 
"Not all." Hunter said looking down at his books with a smile.
 
"God I wonder how many times I will get hit on today. Thank you for that," Addie smiled. "I mean I wouldn't help the new girl that's pissed off the jocks already if i were you."
 
"Of course not, because you're just not that kind of person are you." He said in a perky sarcastic voice as he wrote on a small slip of paper.
 
"Excuse me? You know nothing about me." She said sharply.
 
"Have a nice day Addison. I really do hope you fit in well here." He put on a fake smile and handed her a piece of paper and walked out the door.
 
"Get over yourself." It read and scribbled black ink. Addie bit her lip, what a great first day. She could really use a hit right now.

"Ivy, honey you're going to be late for cheer practice again!" Aria yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
 
Ivy walked downstairs slowly, "I'm head cheerleader mom, they wouldn't dare start without me. Besides I still have like ten minutes." She smirked making her way to the kitchen.
 
"Oh ok then I'm sure you'd love to help me move these boxes?" Aria said out of breath struggling to unpack furniture.
 
"I'm not the one that wanted to move mom. Like we've had four houses in my entire life, all in Fairview, whats the point? Whatever." She knew there was a point, and she knew she didn't want the answer. There was a knock on the door.
 
"I'll get it, it's probably Kara or one of the other girls." She answered the door, unaware that the man behind it would change her life forever. "Hi, can I help you somehow?" She said perky as always.
 
"I'm looking for Aria Arbeloa, I heard she lives here?" He said in a quite, low voice.
 
"That's me!" Aria said running to the door. "Who's askin-" Her voice trailed off. He looked exactly the same, her heart sunk into her stomach, feeling nauseous. He burrowed his frown but couldn't help smiling. "What are you doing here?" She asked slowly looking away from his face.
 
"You look beautiful..I didn't know what to expect when I came here." He was flustered.
 
"What do you want Blake?" She looked back at him leaning on her door. They got lost in each others eyes for a moment.
 
"Mom, are you going to drop me off at cheer practice or not?" Ivy said with attitude and confusion in her voice.
 
"Mom? Are you married" Blake said shocked, taking a few steps back onto the porch.
 
"Hon, do you mind walking today?" She yelled behind her. "No I'm not..married, Blake you should leave." She whispered.
 
"Don't take it personal, shes really sensitive about the whole lack of dad situation." Ivy said to Blake passing him on the way out.
 
"How old did you say you were?" Blake said turning to face Ivy as she left the driveway.
 
"I didn't... but i'm 16." She said confused and finally giving a wave to her mother.
 
"She's 16. So either you cheated on me when you left or that girl is my d-" He covered his mouth, losing breaths, shocked. "You better start fcking talking Aria."
 
She was in tears now, "I'm so sorry Blake. I wanted to tell you but.." she was interrupted.
 
"But WHAT Aria?" He yelled. "Nothing you can say, can justify hiding my daughter from me. 16 years, I was missing you, when I could have been forming a relationship with her. How could you do this?"
 
"I couldn't have my daughter be a burden to your family, they hated me, imagine how they would treat her! She couldn't be a Dent, I was protecting her."
 
"That's not your choice Aria. We loved each other, and you know I would have been a dmn good father." He was so frustrated the anger in his voice outweighed the shakiness.
 
"I'm so sorry, I was scared. I didn't want her to get hurt by them like I did." Aria was in full tears, she slowly slid down the door and sat on the floor, her head in her hands.
 
Blake attempted to calm down. He lowered into a squat and grabbed her hands to look into her hands. "Listen Aria, she is my child. I have lost 16 years with her and as much as you may hate it, I am going to spend every breathing moment I can with her. Hiding her from her father is not protecting her."
 
"I'm so sorry baby." She cradled his face in her hands. She brought his face closer to him still crying. "We can still do this, you can move in, things will be like they used to."
 
His eyes were closed, her touch was definitely something he missed. He shook his hands and stood back up. "No Aria, things will never be the same. I doubt she will be as forgiving as I was. I'll come back tomorrow at the same time." He slowly left the house.
 
"Blake please.." She was choking over her own words.
 
Blake teary eyed, looked back and said quite. "Take care of yourself."
